Sweeeeet.
Like anything else - they just take practise and getting used to them.

Not bad Don. Live and learn I guess. I can still tell who it is, so not all is lost.

Finally, at long last, I present my M2M challenge!! Well, sort of. I was asked to draw Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire dancing to Stevie Ray Vaughn playing his guitar. Drawn in pencil, colored in Photoshop. Let me give you some background information. I had never before heard of Stevie Ray Vaughn. Even now, I don't really know who he is. However, I looked everywhere I could think of for a good picture for a reference, but simply could not find one. To clarify, I found lots of pictures, but none where I could pick out his facial features. So, unfortunately, he didn't make the final cut. Sorry, Stevie. Now, a word about Fred and Ginger. I have of course heard of them, but I honestly hadn't ever seen a picture of them. So, I honestly don't know if I captured their likeness. I did find pictures of them, but none that were in color, so I completely guessed on the coloring. Anyway, I hope you enjoy. Please, please critique. Good and/or bad are appreciated!! Thanks !! -- Eric

Thanks for the comment ToonMom. I'm glad I got at least one of them. Like I said, I don't really know what they look like.
But I do have to say that every time I look at Ginger, I see a little bit of Victoria Jackson from SNL.

P.S. I've never drawn a body before. So, if anybody has a critique or observation, or helpful tip, I'd be very appreciative.

since adam couldn't find the time, maybe i'll open up the cahllenge i gave him to anyone else willing to take it. i asked him to draw tom petty, in some computer program or another he had listed. really, the medium doesn't matter to me. i just don't think there are enough tom petty caricatures on the internet. someone that ugly should be caricatured more. anyone wanna give it a shot?

Rich and etilander, what will it be of their caricatures? I am still waiting... Friends take advantage of this space to invite them to participate in the Competition of Cartoons of the Pope of Karikamanías of Sacred Nelson in Portugal and of Lula she/he Gives Silva of Renato Stegun in Brazil. I believe sincerely that all who we make virtualart should participate. vidal www.vidal1951.ec.nu
