I like what you did with Tom, he is a hard one to draw. It looks about the same as your other ones though. Did you use any new materials? (same technique, not same skills)

Sure he is easy to draw, if you don't care about getting a good likenss! and yes, I should take more drawing lessons on drawing. I will always be taking more drawing lessons on drawing for as long as I'm drawing. The only way to get better is by taking drawing lessons on drawing! Isn't that why we are here?

We are still waiting on work from several members doing this challenge. As soon as all the drawings are posted, we will move on to another m2m challenge if there is enought interest in one.
These members still need to post their work: dschmittle itsadam etlander vidal11951 nelsonsantos jc lifedoestimitate donpinsent

Nelson - you should be very happy with that caricature of Tom. It's very good! However, I have seen several of him on the web that just don't have the likeness. This is why I say he is hard to draw.

fianlly had a chance to finish this up. zieglar asked me to do macaulay culkin in crayon. the mistake i made was trying to use crayons with the same techniques i use for my coloured pencils. it didn't work, and i think it hurt the likeness a little. lesson here? never use crayons!
