You are definitely a caricature artist! I love it! great strech. How did you color it? How long did this take you to finish?

i used my favourite...prismacolour pencils. the sketch took quite a few tries...i must have done a dozen until i came up with this one. i tried drawing her with her mouth closed, but to me, it didn't look like her. so after several sketches, i chose this one and the colour part only took an hour or so. it's my favourite so far. i decided to stretch it as much as possible, and not be safe...and i'm happy with the results. i want to achieve more stretch and exaggeration in my caricatures, but i'm trying to keep that likeness, too. thanks for the kind comments.

thats reall good, its gr8......i noticed that with julia, u drew all her teeth, all the way through, instead of just the outline of the teeth.....was that to make you notice that she has big teeth?

yes, it was, jadachris. with her, as i drew more sketches, i noticed how distinctive her teeth are. i think that when her mouth is closed, she's rather ordinary looking. then when she smiles, all you see are teeth. i'm not a fan of julia, but she is an interesting face.

Stoontoons! You definitely got her! Without all those teeth, I can't imagine it would have looked like her. Love her nose too! Great job!
