here is one i tried to do of vin diesel, of the movies "xXx" and "fast and furious" i tried doing shading like some of you have told me, but im not too good right now, but give me some time and ill be a pro like u guys!! lol jokes

i can definitely see some progress happening here. you're getting better with each drawing you do. practise makes perfect! what pencil did you use to do the shading?

thanx stoontoons, erm im no expert on pencils, but i used 4b pencil to do the outlines, then 6b for the shading, but shading is really difficult, cause i wanna give the pic shape, but i still want it to look like a cartoon! how long have you been drawing stoontoons?

quite awhile, but i'm not an expert. i'm always learning from other artists....i'm never satisfied with my work, i always want to do more. i think you're on the right track...you are improving! here's a tip that might help with shading...the darkest shadow is not right against the edge (it's called the cast shadow). so if you were drawing the jaw, there's a thin lighter shadow right against the jawline, and then the cast shadow shows up. does that make sense?
