my try at chris i was happy with this one but now i've looked again i'm not. mostly with the beard and neck. Appreciate any comments on whats wrong with it and how yu would put it right. I think i should have somehow made the beard line that runs round the face push out more to make the underside of the beard recede. if that makes sense.

Thanks for the comments and the Caricature Flatcap!Id say you got a decent likeness there, altough I am without a beard now...but thats not your fault haha. I guess if your bothered by the beard, I can give you a suggestion, you have it drawn as a mass or hair, not individual strands, or just hint at the individual strands, you doint have to draw each one, but the more hair you draw, the more realistic it will come off as. Same with the hair on the top of my head, dont really block it in, draw the hair. It'll look messier at the beginning, but as you do it more and more often itll clean up. use your artistic license here, draw design-y type lines, it doesnt have to be EXTREMLY accurate. And i guess the best tip for drawing individual lines for hair would be dont intersect them, too much...It makes it look messy...uhhh...okay, maybe you can make them intersect and overlap on certain subjects And if you want to up the likeness just that much more, my eyes are actually quite small and squinty, while my nose is a little on the wide side...<---Rhymes Once again Thanks Flatcap! you must post a pic of yourself so I can return the favor... -Chris
