I am planning to attend this convention of cartoonists that takes place in
the small French village of St Just le Martel.
I had been planning to attend this year because of my cards
(www.bushhouseofcards.com), which give me a product to flog and show. There are two weekends (last one in September, first one in October) & I will attend one of them.
I was inspired enough to pay the extra $60 to speed my passport renewal... Anyway, this village is between Paris & Toulouse, near the town of Limoge (of china fame?).
It's pretty close to Provence (a couple hundred miles, so a lot closer than Boston, anyway ;-). So I'm hoping to piggyback a day or two enjoying the Provencal cuisine. yum...
I have a response from the people running the convention, & it's quite a bit different than the NCN, in that folks are put up with local families rather than hotels . I gather hotel space is limited anyway.
If anyone else is interested, email me for email address & such. They responded in French, so I'm wrangling now for an english speaking member to iron out some details...
