Vote Kerry for President 2004!

If I was an American, and the elections were held today, I would be voting for Kerry as president. After all the damage that Bush has caused, both physically and psychologically to people, and to the global economy and stability, anything would be better than giving him another term in office. I don't believe that the world will be able to survive a third World War, but I believe that if Bush is left in office, that is where we will all end up. Despite Kerry's shortcomings, nothing that he does which is criticisable Bush doesn't already do himself. However, instead of putting the tax cuts in place which make the country's richest even richer and everyone else dramatically poorer, instead of launching wars based on lies and greed for oil, instead of pulling the USA's deficit all the way to $500bn, Kerry would reverse all of this. And the last reason that Kerry would have my vote is this: the struggle now is between Bush and Kerry. A vote placed anywhere but those two is a wasted vote. Every able-minded and able-bodied eligible American should vote for Kerry because Bush has to go. A vote for Nader is essentially a vote for Bush, because Nader will never get as many votes as either Bush or Kerry. With the scales almost level between Bush and Kerry, a final effort is needed to topple them in favour of Kerry. Otherwise, only God knows what will happen if Bush is given a second chance to spark WWIII.

I am an American, and I'll be voting for Kerry. I note there are 12 views of your message, but no replies. I suspect that this is because the subject of politics is radioactive these days, with the country split 46/46 and the other 8% bewildered or not paying attention.
One thing to non America readers: our president is often described as "The Leader of the Free World", but many of you have pointed out that you never voted for him.
That's OK, my 46% feels like we never voted for him either;-)
Sorry to all here to 'enter flaming', but I tried to keep it rated G.

I am not political and I don't discuss politics with my friends, but let's just say the last 4 years has been really tuff for us financially.
