lol i would have liked to see the lit up puck though. so who is your fave hockey team stoontoons? or have u said it already? another thing that bugs me about american sports, is that there is no, promotion and relegation into different leagues, so every season is against the same teams, where is the anticipation in that?? if there were no promotion and relegation, my wolves would have never been able to play man u!! what do americans think about the league systems there??? lol im glad u know more than me, yeah man u is , manchester united, the team that has more fans outside of manchester, than inside!!! lol lol i heard man city had more fans in manchester than utd

my favourite team of all hockey teams is the 2004 world junior hockey team...they won the silver (when they should have won the gold). i also like the women's olympic team. led by k. wickenheiser...the best woman hockey player in the world! i don't really watch the NHL...i think the leagues have gotten too greedy. canada won both gold medals, in olympic hockey, for the men's and the women's teams.

stoons, it seems that you are a fan of canadian hockey! I am in the "I can't follow the puck" catagory. My 4 year old just started playing hockey this winter, so I am trying to get into the sport more.

yeah, i guess i am a fan. kinda can't help it...canada has produced most of the great hockey players in this world. and if you live in a cold climate, that's about the only sport that's possible. you wouldn't believe it if you heard my son talk. he knows everything there is about hockey. ask him who won the 1958 Stanley Cup, and he'll tell you the name of the team, and each player, plus all the teams they played on, and how many goals and assists they made in those games....

Well here in Australia its Aussie rules footy or Cricket that rules.I play Cricket every Saturday.I use to play football, but i tore my anterior cruciate in my need knee that required a knee reconstruction. The operation failed, because of an infection.I spent over 5 weeks in hospital quite ill.So that put an end the the football. But i enjoy watching. So stoontoon ask your son who won the 1958 Stanley cup? Cheers Grant

tooned, i will ask him when i see him on sunday (he's all grown up and lives on his own), when we will be watching the latest installment of survivor, the all-time best reality show ever! the only thing that could take me away from hockey would be survivor. i don't care about the superbowl, i'm tuning in for jeff probst and the all-star survivors! my favourite episode of survivor took place in australia...colby is by far, the best player ever. i could name all the teams, where it took place, and who won for all past survivors. tooned, perhaps you can explain...what is the point of cricket? i don't get it. that's the one where you hit the ball through those square pegs, right? how do you know who wins?

okay, that i can understand. pretty basic...whether it's football, hockey, baseball, or whatever, the player with the biggest score wins. i guess golf is the only sport that you need a lower score, right? (i don't know anything about golf, except you play it in summer and it's very expensive!). change of subject: any survivor fans out there? please tell me i'm not the only one.
