Hello classmates,
I would like to introduce myself, my name is Jo Becker and I am writing this for the fourth time because I have never done this before and seem to be somewhat slow in understanding.
I am married with four children and seven grandchildren and I work part time. We live in Evansville Indiana and we enjoy playing golf and riding our bicycles, ( we just started this and will enjoy it more when our butts get over being sore).
I enjoy drawing the sweet faces of our grandchildren and am looking forward to learning something new.
Sincerely, Jo

Hi Jo, welcome. Slim, i think you are a poet...honestly....so donĀ“t waist your time with your chango-detonated-caricatures and go ahead with your poetry !! ...(you are a the next Bukowsky), (trust me ).

I think that you are right Horate I really shouldn't hesitate A poet that is born and bred should not draw those silly heads he should stick to sterner stuff and try to do away with fluff a poets life is grand and true but sleeping in gutters gives me the flu
-Slim (Better than Bukowsky) ;D

Slim You are fast at your poetic quips At lighting speed the words gush from your lips. I bet you were radical when you were a child Not sweet and quiet but obnoxious and wild. All right I know a poet I am not, After reading these mesages I think I fit in with the lot. With that I will say goodby to you, and draw a caricature which I really can't do. Jo Welcome, I also lived in Evansville for about 5 years, loved the area. BY the way if your seeking normalcy on this board, be afraid, be very very afraid.

Jo....I hope that everything is ok for you in Evansville. I was home visiting my parents when the tornado came through the area. it just missed my brother in Newburgh by less than a 1/4 of a mile. it is quite devastating. i really do pray that you and your family are doing fine. Many of my friends have lost their homes. The neighborhoods where i grew up running around are now gone. Starting tomorrow, through my foundation, I am going to try to raise money to help out anyone that are in need. My foundation website is www.jameycarroll.org. We are working on getting the site ready for donations and it should be by late tonight or tomorrow morning. let me know if there is anything I can do to help out in the area. For anyone who is not aware, a tornado went throught the Evansville, Newburgh area of Indiana last Sunday night. It killed 22 and injuried hundreds. Nearly 800 homes have been destroyed or damaged. The path was over 20 miles long. The size of the storm was nearly 500 yards wide and moving at 60 mph. A very sad and tragic time.
