hey. i'm new to virtual art, so i thought i'd introduse myself.
don pinsent, caricatures by don. i've been caricaturing for about 19 years now (man, it makes me feel so old when i say that), but i'm just recently on the internet. (www.caricaturesbydon.com). greatest influences: sebastian kruger; jan op de beeck; fluck and law, creators of british tv's spitting image puppets. i have what can only be described as a passion for the art of caricature. i even have a tendency sometimes (such as today) to sit at my work computer and draw caricatures of celebrities for hours at a time, seemingly unable to stop myself! fortunately, my bosses don't mind as long as i get my work done by the deadline (i'm an animator full-time). anyway, i just discovered this site today, and it provides me an excellent place to check out caricatures by other artists, which is another of my big procrastination distractions.

actually, i don't much, but i do kind of follow who's on top and so on. a lot of people where i work are pretty stoked about canada's big victory.
