Hi Maz, .... Funny that you miss some german food, because it was the other way round for me. Marmite, Branston Pickle etc.. mmmmm! Well, I've found a shop that specialises in english food and I can get that stuff now, but of course, it's incredibly expensive here ! Missing English Food?! Along with my forebears, (the Irish), food is not one of the principal draws of that sceptered isle. I guess if you're from there... I'd sooner miss the beer, but of course, they know a thing or two about beer im Deutschland, as I recall from my limited travel there. So many beers, so little time! But this reminds me of the joke I heard on the continent while I was there - I'm sure it will be familiar to many, but for thsoe who have not: "In heaven, the police are British, and the auto mechanics German; the cooks are French, the lovers are Italian, and the Swiss run everything. In hell, the police are German, the auto mechanics are French, the cooks are British, the lovers are Swiss, and the Italians run everything!" welcome , Mark, from one who came in just before you... ein zwei drei, zipfer!, JD
