Hi! Stoontoons,
Please to meet you. I’m currently residing in New Jersey with my family and a daughter. Basically I’m from India. From last almost three years I’m in the USA. I worked on one animation project in NY & few freelance jobs since then but I don’t have regular job yet. I’m always interested in Caricatures especially in comic art.
I did few watercolor landscapes, & photography. I keep interest in almost every subject related to Nature i.e. art, science, history…etc. and of course in sports. I never played hockey but I enjoy watching it because it is very graceful game.
My favorite artist…hmm, it’s very tough question for me. In animation, my teacher Ram Mohan is the great animator, the team that created first Tom & Jerry is the greatest. Since I joined this class I knew about few great Caricature artist and their work & I became their fan, those are Mauri, Gary Fasen, Jan Op De Beeck, …may be this list will go on further as I’ll have more knowledge in this area. Actually every great artist is unique in his area.
By the way whenever you get time tell me about yourself too. May be I’ll be your fan in the future.
So it was nice meeting you. I would like to know about you all. See you around.

thanks for all the info, makarand. very interesting personal history you have. i'm sure you will find the board a friendly and helpful place.
tooned....if an australian footballer played against a canadian ice hockey player, who do you think would win? (my answer; it would depend on where they played...coz i don't think anyone but a canadian could survive the winter!).
you do know that canadians won the olympic gold medals, for women and men, but i don't recall any gold medals for ozzie football...hmmm
