I though I woould post here, and be friendly.

Well I have lived in Southern Oregon just about my whole life. Happily married with a son 20 and a daughter 18. My daughter and I enjoy drawing and working a small new caricature business with my daughter Karena. With Draw4You.com we take orders over the internet and do live sittings for people, parties, company picnics etc.

Hobbies are Hydroponic Gardening, Restoring My 36 Ford Pick-up Truck, Fishing

You will find me in surgery doing work as well, over twelve years now I have been a Surgery Aid. I work both as a Laser Technician for surgical procedures and a Laparoscopic Camera Technician. This involves use of a laparoscope to guide surgical procedures within the abdomen and viewing it by using monitors.

I have alway been artistic. The caricature drawings I have been doing only for three years. Which I just really enjoy doing. I am alway working on bettering my self. The Draw4You.com was started to help my daughter with some income. But really I have been having way too much fun, and adding some income as well. Pays for it's self, and some of my toys!

hi, mike. it seems you and i have some things in common; we both love caricatures, we have children about the same age (son 21, daughter 19) and we're on this board! thanks for joining us. i look forward to seeing some of your work.

i forgot to mention the other thing we have in common...the name karena. mine is spelled corrina, but said co-een-a. which i assume is the way karena says hers. i found out a few years ago that karena is russian, and all the variations of that, such as corrina, are from that first name.
(don't often use it, though...i prefer corky or stoontoons).

I do just want to say that I find myself not really saying much, like I see some people do with postings.
I do enjoy reading what everybody has to say. Just I am not too much of a talker. I make my self post at times to try not to look like a wet blanket.

I really do'nt get offended easily, so you all can have all the fun you want with me, but I must warn you all, I can have some really dry humor at times.

I do like input from you all as I post my drawings, if you choose. I really want to improve.

I have thick skin, so have all the fun with me you want. I myself just need to remember that everyone is different, which is a good thing! Just think if everyone had dry humor the world would be flat not round!

Mike - what tooned said! Don't comment if you don't want to. The only areas I encourage members to try and make it a point to post is on the lesson threads. Just to let whoever took the time to put it together know it was usefull (or not).
