I think you could have done better on David. The nose looks wrong to me. His seems more upturned than what you have here. I also think you could have pushed the shape of his face more. The way you drew it seems too normal, if that makes sense. As for Iggy, I think you made him too normal looking as well. To me, in the photo, he is all wacked out looking. They are both some strange looking characters and in your drawing they look average. I think you did a great job drawing them, don't get me wrong. However, I think you drew them as if they were customers of yours and you didn't want to offened them. That is great if that is what you are going for. I would like to see you push it to the extreme!

Your right toonmom, now i'm more or less able to draw fast inoffensive cartoony faces, that customers want to buy. I can now start really trying to become a caricaturist, and start pushing the features about. i'm going to try these two again, and this time use all the ref pics you posted instead of the one. Thanks for the c&c most welcome, now i just need to put your comments in to practice.

k, i know i'm late on this one, but i wanted to do it just the same. iggy is the face for caricature! but then, once i got started, i decided i wanted to go all out on it, and make it one of my fully-rendered, portrait-style caricatures. i'm creating it in a program i'm currently addicted to called "sketchbook pro". it'll take some time, but i think it could be awrsome in the end. in the meantime, here's a teaser image: the rough, rough, rough sketch.
