Larry nice work.I know you are color blind,so just to let you know the highlits on his cheeks and under the nose is a bluish greenish color. Also you should have a go at drawing his body.you have put his head onto his body from the photo.it does not quite fit right.Would have love to see you also drawing his body...keep up the great work.

OK Grant, thanks for the tips! I went back and drew the body instead of using the one from the photo. By the way, very keen eye you have to have noticed that I copped the body from the photo (just too tired to draw it myself, I guess). And here's a little secret: I also copped some of the colors from Stang's drawing, so thank-you Stang!
I went back and tried to correct the colors under the cheeks and nose that you mentioned, but I doubt that I got them right. Maybe I got them a little better though?
Thanks for your observations and suggestions Grant; I really appreciate them.

hi NEIL, good to see you posting again...i think that you must concentrate more in one thing for exagerate when you work on subjects "easy" like Ron.i know i give my opinion without posting yet, but....ok, later i hope to post something.... NEIL, if you made a good exageration in one point, far example the head, the rest don`t have the same importance, so is not necessary to use the same exageration.if not you can draw a semi portrait using only less exageration in all the points except on head, far example. in that one i see an attempt for draw exagerating all, but the result , TO ME, is not the best, specially the mouth. If i can SUGGEST something, is, to GO AROUND THE TOP 100 CARICATURES SITES, AND.... search a "style", learn it copying, and repeat it all days, (2 hours per day could be the best,) then you COULD develop your own style and create your own features FOR drawing....so the first when you began the next caricature is to try to define better what you want to express with your caricature, and try to imagine the face you are seeing like a caricature.i hope it can aid.

Thanks Horate, I see what you mean. I do have some problems in the exageration area. I am trying to fix this on each drawing. I do study other artist and I am starting to see where they find areas to have fun with. Thanks for the great constuctive criticism. I need more of these to help me grow as an artist.
