flatcap: thanks so much. I used a kneaded eraser to pick out the hightlights. It's not as good as I hoped. I can do better but i just wanted to start posting again. I'll redo this one at a later time. thank you again for commenting Ricky  |

Ricky, once again, nice work, although i think if you paid more attention to the facial muscles and head shape youd get a better likeness. All the interior features look good, but other things i think are off...just my opinion. great drawing though!

thanks Chris. I know what you mean. I was trying to exaggerate but I was focusing so much on the "lines" that I forgot about the interior of the face. I still have to work on remembering that even though it's caricature, there's still muscles involved. I might revisit this one. Thank you so much for the comment, kind words, and encouragement. I really appreciate them. Toonmom, thanks. This is one that I really had fun with. As Chris mentioned above I forgot the "internal" muscles of the face (er, what am I talking about - I meant to do that ;D) Thanks toonmom for everything, ah - it's good to be back home Ricky |
