Great Jobs, everyone, ive been away for a while doing college stuff and deciding on a university course for next year. Ive missed a lot here and havn't had much time for drawing.
Hans: As much as I admire your work. Im not "feeling" the protruding cheekbone on this one. because of the right (ours) being flat. The actual painting work is great as usual and it looks like your really getting the hang of the ol' airbrush pen for your tablet.

Nice one Hans and Stang. I'm with Adam though, the cheek bone looks like another nose growing out of his face.

it wouldn't look quite so odd if the other cheekbone showed some sign of being equally protruding, but as it is, the face looks uneven. other than that, though, i think you've got a very good likeness.

Nice work by everyone on this thread and I can see improvement in some of them. I had drawn Kevin before I joined this forum. And this is the latest version of him. Thanks, Makarand

I knew someone could do it! I'm not surprised that it was Makarand. You seem to nail everyone you draw. What's your secret? Don't get me wrong, I think everyone did a great job, I think we were all just almost there. This one was a challenge for sure. Great job Makarand!!

Thank you toonmom for admiring my work. I think my animation work helps me in drawing caricatures. But it is definitely not a secret. If we keep few things in mind and do regular practice with some observation will help us to improve our work. Though there is better likeness you see in my every caricature, I’m not yet satisfied with the exaggeration I do. I still have long way to go. It’s never ending process even if I improve every time. Thanks again.

I must agree with toonmom, I think this is the best one. makarand, thanks for posting this, and giving me some ideas on where to go with the caricature.

Just thought I'd go back and try some old challenges. I think he looks more like some manga character than a real caricature with the big eyes and forehead but I figured I'd post it anyway. Really trying to work on the exaggerating. Need to take more time on the hair also, or find a better technique.

It's been a bit since my last post. I've been fooling around with this one for the last few days. What are your thoughts?
