jkblaze... it depends for what reason and in what you will use them. The typographies have a meaning, different from a family to another. The fine ones are coupled better with a delicate, soft, fragile product; the thick or robust denote force and power; they go better with strong products, as tires, cars, machines, etc. Needs to know the respective briefing to find the appropriate strategy. Besides agreement to the visual problem that you have to solve, can create a typography based on the existent ones in the market that you/they are many. The application that you give him is infinite... In drawing and cartoon, you can replace them for your model's forms. Example: The creativity with the letters is possible and infinite, provided you learn how to know them and to draw them, its characteristics, bodies, structures, forms, sizes, etc. is a very interesting and necessary chapter in the visual communication. It should be an all harmonic with the elements of your design. Please, GCSE, what is this? I wait to have helped you. vidal www.ec.nu

GCSE its justa grade here in the UK, you have helped me a little, ill try make it a bit more at the aima s you have said it depends what you use it for. I am now into a sport called parkour and logos for groups and such is what most use, would look into t-shirts and stuff for groups when everyoens better locally. As its an urban sport its to be an urban style but logos wouldnt depend totally on the letter as an image, it would have an image and blended into the image soemhow would be a style of writing ratehr than using boring old fotns that keep seperate iw anted to know how to make my own with fluidity.

When it is believed a company, product or service, she/he needs a name or social reason. Then before the competition she/he should be distinguished and to differ, then that name becomes mark and you have an image that can be mark image, product or service, company image. If this mark image applies it in all your communication supports and departments of a company it becomes corporate image. Of there the importance of a good briefing or information of your company, product or service, since the objective is to achieve a good positioning of your image in the mind of the receiver or future client. This will make you to achieve a good posesionamiento of your target. She/he investigates the problem well and give him a good solution. Good luck and send me the results. vidal www.vidal1951.ec.nu

Well mainly im not aiming at a corporate image (at the moment anyway) im lookign at urban logos (tags, not for graffiti use) these would be used on websites and also maybe t-shirts and such when we get good, it is to reflect the name.
I've been thinking about it, for ideas to try and get the point i thought of my username, it would involve flames so it would be smooth with sharp points, the only problem is how to fit it together with a flow.
