This was painted with oil on masonite about 11x 14 and is of an old factory across from the tracks (l live on the otherside) I liked the abandoned look of the rusted metal and the boarded window...and decided to paint it a year or two back

Yea, I do Love oil. This is really nice. Isn't it amazing how an old building can get your imagination and going.

thanks for the positive comments guys...funny thing this forum, the stuff I submit that I personally really like gets good comments the other stuff...not so much...like some of my digital colour caricatures?

This reminds me of Hopper the way you have the sign with a rural scene.He paintings often invoked feelings of isolation.To me your sign is what makes this painting.
