In keeping with toonmom's topic about Jan Van Eyck, I thought I'd show one of the examples we're working on in Drawing class. Our instructor asked us to select ten Masters' drawings or paintings, and try to copy them as closely as possible, so we could learn how they made their marks. We did a larger project, too, but I can't post that yet, since I haven't finished it. This is Ansidei Altarpiece by Raphael.
