I liked the class, I don't like the teacher. I had the same teacher for watercolors last semester and I didn't like him then either. He doesn't show us how to do anything, but he thinks we should know. He grades us based on how close we get to doing what he likes. He is into abstract, so everything is abstract in all his classes. I will have him for drawing II and he was showing me some of the stuff we will be doing. Guess what, mostly abstract!
In the spring I am taking Drawing II.
In the Fall: Ceramics I Algebra II Philosophy of Religion 2D design Art history - Neoclassic to Early Modern
Thanks for asking! What are you taking Shelley?

I would love to take life drawing, but I don't need it for my degree. I might take it at some point though.

Looks like interesting assignments. I really like your composition. I just finished the Neoclassic to Modern art history in second semester. Not crazy about the Romantic or the Baroque, gotta say. Too much for me.

Hey ToonMom, when i do drawign at school in lkessons and such when we ahve to do it for projects for thigns, i like drawing 3d shapes, i think i get msot of the shape and such right but not that good on shading the effect and also addign shadows, you got any links or soemthign that could help me?
Ive took art next year, for some reason i dont think the art teacher will be very helpfull with these things, i took it as ive took engineering and it will be soemthign that will help along with that. shapes are an important thing to learn as i will have to design such models and plans.

Each class was 3 hours and we got 1 or 2 class periods to work on them. I didn't work on them at home so they took between 3 and 6 hours to complete.
