It is from the beginning of this semester. It's a coil built pot, which is lop-sided, but I don't think that shows in the photo. It really is ugly!

Thanks Horate. Yes, my other work is better than this one. I am happy with the overall effect and I like the coloring on it, but it's really deformed when you see it live. If you turn it just right, you can see it.

I will post my other works when I bring them home. I still have to glaze them.

toonmom, thanks for posting this. I like it. I've never worked with clay or anything like that before. You're much braver than I am. I think it's really great. I don't think it's ugly at all. Like Horate said, it's interesting. I think if you maybe put a plant in it and actually use it, you'll find it much more pleasing. Think of it as a plain piece of paper. It's boring, bland, and not worth anything. But draw a picture on it , make a paper plane, or do anything with it and you'll soon open the doors to creativity. You certainly have a knack for creativity. Keep it up. Really, this isn't bad at all. Please post more if you have some more pics. Great Job!!! :-X
