Thought I would share with you guys a painting and drawing my nephew (Ricky) did. The first is an Oil painting he did on board (self portrait) His father my brother, has been working with him on painting and drawing for some time now. He's doing an outstanding job. I have also included a portrait Ric my brother did for you to see what a great likness he has achieved. Oh He's 6 years old... Great job! That's amazing! Very good for a 6 year old. There's a good likeness in his pencil drawing for sure.

MAN ALIVE! SIX YEARS OLD? watch out holly, you've got competition creeping up on you...
hey, anyone heard from holly lately?
anyway, this is really impressive work for such a young talent!

I love seeing young people being creative! For a 6 year old, the proportions are very well-done. (most six year olds have a skewed perception and almost always put the eyes too high on the forehead....comes from looking up at everybody all the time).  |
