Hey, Shelley -
First off, I think all your works are just incredible. However, since I don't really do any other art except caricature, I have to plead ignorant and ask what you mean by "this was done... with a knife". How exactly does a knife fit into the equation? I just can't figure that out.

Thanks,the tool used to apply the paint to the canvas is a knife instead of a brush.I makes the texture all thick and cut into.Its fun and you never know how the painting is going to turn out.You don't have much control.
