Keep trying Toon mom B&N is a great place to go. lots of people and most are in their own world not paying attention to any thing beyond what they are reading.

It's hard to make time to do something you are reluctant to do to begin with. I should at least start drawing my kids and the cat. The cat would be easy, all he does is sleep.

toonMom, that's great. Thank you for posting. I know it's sometimes tough for you (for most of us) to get over that hump of posting something we don't really believe in, so good for you. I'm not really much of a sketcher, so I don't think I'll be able to add much to this thread. However, I will say that these are better than what I could have done. I seem to have a problem with faces at different angles. If you notice, pretty much all my drawings are straight ahead. If they're not, they are facing towards the left side of the page. I really can't (yet) draw people facing the direction your top two are facing. I guess I should quit complaining about that and start trying to fix it, huh? Anyway, good job.

I chose those angles because I have trouble with them. I have tried doing "live" drawings like this before and I always hate the results so I stop doing it. Yet, when I look at the live sketches other people do, I love them. So I guess I should keep at it!
