What is pixel art?
An image created 1 pixel at a time. When creating pixel art you don't draw, you pixelate. Generally you use a limited palette as well.
How is pixel art created?
You can use any graphics program. MS Paint is perfect for creating pixel art. I use Photoshop and the Pencil tool set at 1 pixel and anti-aliased turned off (this is a must).
You can make many different things using this method. You can created little characters, objects and small towns (which are really cool).
