What inspired you to become an artist and what inspires your work?

inspiration to be an artist, the world....the world is a good subject that inspire my work....in other words...trying to search the reallity.

I think my first inspiration came as a small child, copying cartoons from the news papers and loving to do something that not a lot of the other children could do.
I came remember the fist portrait I actually did, The american actor James Dean.I thought at the time that it was pretty good i'm sure that it was a piece of crap, but it got my intrest going. And through that I continued to study wat real artist were doing and the fun of trying to create.
Today my inspiration comes from within, most of the time I throw down a couple of lines and let things happen.The work I do in bookstores and coffee shops is really a form of practice drawing. I am a believer that an artist enters a Zone where magical things happen. I have to get out of the trap of trying to please others with my work, then this becomes a job which I really don't want.
So I guess my inspiration is the desire to create, good,bad or indifferent it is mine.

To me the "inspiration" come after : 1) a lot of work behind. 2) a lot of hours behind work. 3) a lot of mistakes behind works, 4) and finally and the most important, a lot failure, behind years.
After see some masters, i prefer replace the word Create, for RE-Create.Anyway i think anybody it´s a potencial artist.

I agree it is a lot of work,but it is joyful work and there is a satifaction beyond what normal work will bring.

Light,....i don´tt think the same,....normal things ussually, are so funny to do, that we don´t realise ....contrary....dificult caricatures are a nightmare ...and sometimes i don´t like to do !!...Creation...or i must to say ...recreation it`s a difficult job to do.To create something with drawing or painting it´s a hard job if you made it seriously.Cause you need to know some rules,...somebasics rules...to draw perspective, ...composition...color...a lot of theory,...and etc....To be an "artist", a true artits, is not an easy way to live the day, and say yea...i´m an artist. So i think that,...if i´m wrong, please let me know.Myabe it sound some weird, but is waht i think,...while i`m triybing to do something decent, in paintings,...or caricatures,...
