I wanted to post this as a reply to the August Challenge Thread, but it wouldn't let me. Is there a 5 page limit on threads? Anyways, since I did the finish in Painter 8, this digital gallery seemed like a good place to post it. And I really wanted this one to come out nice. Renee is my girlfriend. Soon she will know it too.   |

Good color version of your original sketch!
I just caught Cold Mountain last night so a recent image of her is burned in my head...you have it. With her its the eyes, lips and chipmunk-like cheeks.

I have to see that flick too. But I hear it's pretty depressing.
I don't know if I want to see my girlfriend all bummed out. Maybe I'll wait for Bridget Jones 2 this fall.

BTW - I tried to post in the Renee challenge thread and it let me. I'm not sure what the problem was when you tried it, maybe the server was overloaded again?
