stoontoons needs to repost her images in here. I IM'd her about it. They will count, since they were posted yesterday. I want to get them in their proper place though.

Just so I'm clear, this thread is still open until the end of today, Sunday, right? My understanding was that we had until the end of Sunday, so I suppose if this thread is locked and this post doesn't make it up, then I am wrong and it ends effective Sunday, rather than going through Sunday. But if it does show up, then I am right. Basically, I guess I'm saying that if you can read this, you probably don't have to respond; I'll have gotten my answer.
Thanks.

The thread will be closed Monday morning some time before 7:00 am USA - Eastern time. I know we are all in different time zones, but 7 days is 7 days, so I don't think this should be a big problem. Besides, I did warn everyone not to wait until the last minute to post ERIC!
This is a slackers challenge, so I guess I should expect some last minute entries.

c'mon we SLACKERS need to stick together!!!! There's only a few hours left. Toonmom has done all she can to allow us ample time to be involved in this. I'd hate to see someone be out of the challenge so soon. Especially since all the other slackers have so much talent. Don't be shy....jump in and play.. ;D Ricky

Hi guys. The drawings on here look fantastic. I have to tell ya, ToonMom, I never got that email announcing that the challenge had started. I even went through my junk mail archives to see if you had emailed from a different address... Could've gotten lost in the huge "net" sea, I guess. But, alas, I'm taking myself out of this challenge. We are moving in less than a month now, from Georgia to California!!! Yahoo. But between the house being on the market, making all the plans and arrangements for the drive and move out there, the new pregnancy (I'm 17 weeks now!!), my three kids, and the four others that I've been keeping, there is NO WAY I'm going to keep this up through February, even if I had gotten the email!!! Especially since once we are on the move, I won't have inet access for awhile. To all the slackers.... Fantastic Job!!! Be so proud of yourself!!! I know it's hard to pick it up again after laying it down for awhile. Everyone looks to be working so hard. I look forward to getting settled so that I can join in again, but for now, I guess I'm the first to cop out of this challenge. ToonMom, it's a REALLY fantstic idea, one I hope you do again sometime next year (cept in May, since I plan on having another birth right then, LOL!!!) I'll keep checking in and may even post a few things before I lose my inet access, but I'm out as far as the competition goes. Since I'm still a slacker though, anyone care if I post my stuff here, challenge or no? Good to see you all posting. Ebeth

Ebeth and anyone else who doesn't qualify to continue with the challenge, feel free to post your work here as an honorary slacker. The cool thing about the slacker challenge is that we are just looking at the number of drawings done, not how good they are, so no pressure.

Okay! Here they finally are! Sorry about all the madness. I'm on the West Coast, so I still got 'em up by Sunday my time. I guess not only am I a slacker, but also an awesome procrastinator. Yay, me! Okay, we have first up John Goodman: Then Mr. Steven Spielberg: Followed by his buddy George Lucas: and his other buddy Tom Hanks: And then rounding out the top five, we have Owen Wilson: Okay, that should about do it. Feel free to comment, but I reckon that'll be hard since I believe this thread will be locked. Oh, well. Hope you all enjoy! -- Eric
