I've got this idea rolling around in my head (could get dangerous) and I'm just curious to see if anyone would be interested in participating in this. It would go something like this:
1. only slackers can join - this means anyone who doesn't draw on a daily, weekly or even monthly basis.
2. the winner will receive a prize, which will be selected from 3 or 4 choices (airbrush kit, caricature manual, etc.) which I will provide and ship to the winner.
The challenge will be something like this:
You will have to draw 5 caricatures (which must be posted) per week. They won't have to be great, but will have to be solid attempts. They will also have to be on full sheets of paper, not 5 tiny heads on 1 sheet. The challenge will last about 3 months, which means you would have to draw 5 caricatures a week for 3 months - no exceptions. The weeks will run from Monday - Sunday, all work must be posted by the end of the week. On Sunday night, I will post the rules for the following week - these weekly rules would include things like - color one of the five in meduim of your choice, or draw Tom Cruise five times, or something similar.
I almost forgot! How to win the challenge. Anyone who doesn't complete the challenge for the week will be eliminated. The last person left wins. - of course we will have to play it by ear and adjust the challenges accordingly.
The idea here is to get those members who just don't make time to draw caricature (like myself) on a regular basis to start doing them.
Post any questions here and let me know if anyone is interesed in doing this.
** there will be a panel of judges who will decide who should be allowed to join in on this and who will decide on anything which may be borderline on the rules - just trying to make it as fair as possible.
