If anyone is working with artweaver,or intends to, I'm devellopping a series of "getting started" flash files.I made a prototype, the real ones are going to appear on the tutorials part of my site ,or on the artweaver site. the prototype is on my starting page, click the thumbnail with the mexican hat.( hey ,another secret in the site!) I am currently working on a caricature in artweaver(big time!) ...If I stay as happy as I am now, about the new version as it is right now (just a new update!) I intend to make this my prime painting program.
have fun!

it's a breeze, I did it with WINK the output is not good in this,as it was just a try-out. the software can be downloaded for free at www.debugmode.com/wink/in the program itself is a file like mine included to get you started. For outputting the flash file, use the option NOT to make a palette.

oh Hans, this is absolutely beautiful. The skin tone is amazing. The eyes, the lips, the stunning detail of that shirt...truely the work of a master.... Ricky

Not sure what you were trying with the left of the face , looks like it's being sucked into a distorted eyeball, would love to have seen a different colour to his lips also just to add contrast to the face, otherwise its fantastic.

Feels strange giving criticism to people like you Hans who are so good, but... I don't like the background and the ears are wildly different sizes which looks really odd to me, I also think it's too smooth looking - I'd make the wrinkles darker and more prominent. His eyes and nose are brilliant and I agree the the shirt and jacket are perfect.
