I've worked as an animator for the last 15 years,, jesus I'm getting old, both on classical and tv,
I'm currently working on a show called the Drew Carey green screen show , which will be shown in the states this fall,i think thats what you guys call it, it's really fun

Heres somthing I made. It wasn't made in flash it was made in a program called "pivot stickfigure animator" that I found.

Its my first time trying animation so its not very smooth looking or not very good either. But I thought i'd share it:

hey. just now discovered this thread that had escaped my attention previously. my work computer didn't seem to want to show me your animation, masonogy1. i'll try again when i'm at home.
i am an animator by trade. i was trained in classical animation, but my current job is working in flash on a canadian kids' show called olliver's adventures. any other canadians on the boards can see it on teletoon, although they're currently showing season 2, and i'm working on season 3. unfortunately, i don't have any personal projects i can show you (no time, though i'd love to try some now that i know the program), and i can't show you anything i've done on olliver's adventures for legal reasons. hopefully in the future, i'll be able to put together some of my own stuff, and i'll share it with you all.
at first i was not excited about the idea of working in flash because i'm an old-fashioned traditionalist, and i hated the idea that i had to use a computer to do animation. too many people think it's all done with computers these days, which is absolutely not the case. and while i do enjoy the work that, for example, pixar does, i still very much prefer the look of good old 2-d hand-drawn animation. anyway, once i learned flash, i didn't feel so bad about it, as i realized that it's very similar to traditional animation (still doesn't look quite as good, but done right, it can still look good), but with tools in the program to make it easier. can't complain about easier!

OOh OOh this is fun! I really like the stick figure violence! I used to make flip books when I was little and they always involved stick people getting run over by tanks and throwing grenades so...Mr. Itsadam, my hats off to you! My girlfriends brother gave me flash and I didn't know what it was...I have got to go get a book now and learn it after seeing you guy's work! I love it!
