Just wondering is anyone else, going to do this workshop in october, sounds fantastic.

We hope that this Kruger-Workshop 2005 information finds you well and healthy.
As you know we are preparing the first "Kruger-Workshop" for caricaturists, illustrators and artists here in Germany.
Due to different reasons we have canceled last year's workshop arrangements. Following you will receive new information on the 2005 workshop which is guided by Sebastian Kruger. Please complete the registration form and mail it along with payment in full by the registration deadline. Due to classroom size, limits are placed on enrollment. Registrations with full payment are processed on a first come, first serve basis.
NOTE: Registrations cannot be guaranteed without payment in full.
1st Kruger-Workshop:
Date: October 18th - 22th, 2005
Arrival: October 17th, 2005
Opening: October 17th, 2005, 5.00 pm
Departure: October 22nd, 2005
Optional departure: October 23rd, 2005 (Depending on your flight arragements.)
As well we will organize a public drawing session in or near by the Kruger Museum on October 21st or 22nd.

"The workshop":
On all days (October 18th - 21th, 2005) Sebastian Kruger will guide through the workshop program. The daily workshop program takes place from 10.00 am till 6.00 pm. Sebastian Kruger has prepared interesting themes. You can try new techniques and new working materials ("It's acrylic...!" :-) ) Our Kruger museum (www.kruegermuseum.de) is only a few minutes by car away from the workshop site. We will exhibit as many works as possible from the workshop to the public in our museum.
In the evenings we are having "get togethers" in the academie or surrounding area.
We will also organize short trips into the surrounding area. E.g. Nearby is the place of birth of the forefather of "all caricaturists and comic artists" - Wilhelm Busch.
We kindly ask all participants to bring along there personal drawing and working materials. For special sections we will provide some test materials.
Preconditions for participation:
Professional or semi-professional working experience as caricaturist and/or portrait artist. Amateurs should contact us before sending a registration. Workshop language is English and German.

The Academie Loccum can offer to every participant a single room incl. full board (breakfast, lunch, coffee and dinner). If you have any special wish concerning food please let us know together with your registration. The price per day and person for lodging is 45.00 Euro (about 57.00 U$).
Workshop fee:
750.00 Euro per person plus tax
Journey to Loccum/Germany:
on your own cost
Return ticket (Shuttle from Hannover airport to Loccum and from Loccum to Hannover airport):
80.00 Euro per person
Total cost (workshop fee/airport shuttle/accommodation with full board: about 1,175.00 Euro (about 1,500.00 U$)
