Got bored ....tried my luck at pastels,on an unused sketch,no referencepicture....(took me a little hour) What do you think, worth another try? or throw it in the bin? Made me think on possibilities like the convention pictures we talked about earlier (though they are in airbrush..).I'm not used on these things, give me an Undo button, and I'm your man ;D

Gee! thanks! I think I could get better at this, because the colour transitions can be 'rubbed' to look like my drawings you are familiar with. Only problem (like most of us) is time time time,to practise......well,no time like the present,as soon as I draw a neww one,I'll give it another go. Thanks you all.

Hans,
This looks really solid and the blending and tones are great.

Yes! start colouring your drawing opposite side of drawing hand! sounds silly, but ruined drawings guaranteed in my case! Coulourblending: don't know much about it yet ,but I started dark to light, trying to leave the paper for the light spots. I added 3,4 colours alongside eachother, and then started rubing them to blend into eachother. I did only small parts at the time. Don't go all over the drawing at once but coming left top to right bottom of the page. This is just how I did it,this does not need to apply to everyone. After all I have one experiment done.
