I got my first issue of this newsletter today, and it looks spectacular! I'm so excited, I can't wait to sit down and read it. Does anyone else get this newsletter? Fot those of you who do not know what this is, it's the newsletter you get when you are a member at NCN - National Caricaturist Network. I joined as a student there, quite some time ago and I just got my first issue. |

Toonmom,
It's a cool newsletter right! I have a few older issues some friends gave me however I need to join the NCN It's a great organization. I went to the NCN caricature convention last year and took a picture with kruger.
It's really amazing how good some of those people are and so friendly too. If you ever get the chance to go do it! I'm going this year too ( I think) If I do I'm going to take pictures to share with everyone on the fourm! I have some freinds I use to work with out at Universal Studios that enter the contest they have each year and won some awardes for there caricatures. The newsletter is worth getting I think toonmom will back me up. It is great source for inspiration. Scott , Grant and Corrina I know you guys are die hard caricature artist so it would be worth you guys joining the NCN.....

I joined for the newsletter! The work in it is amazing. I would love to go to a convention sometime, maybe next year. If there is ever one close to where I live, I would go for sure.

Mauri i may be attending the Ruben awards in may.They are being held in Kansas,a group of Aussie cartoonist from the Australian cartoonist Association is going.So i am hoping i can make it.It would be a great experience.

thanks for the link! i have been looking at joining the ncn for some time...even with the exchange on the dollar, it would still be worth it. i've been perusing the featured artist and other topics, and i think it would be very useful for anyone who is passionate about caricatures.
