I was sad to see Rudy go, but I understand why they did it. That's stinks that they lost 2 times in a row! Not much really happened last night that stands out other than that. Richard was his usually annoying self, I still don't know what his game is!

i was disappointed that rudy got voted out. he's always been one of my favourites. it's gonna leave rupert way outside the rest of the group. i think his best chance is to form an alliance with ethan and jerri, and get that horrible jenna out. otherwise, i think she'll turn on him next. ethan has a better chance with rupert, but not much. he's gonna be gone soon after the merge (if he makes it to that) because he's gonna be a huge threat to colby, lex, alicia, richard...any of the stronger players. richard confuses me. he's so arrogant...but his strategy is so wonky! he doesn't have a solid alliance this time, he seems to be annoying everyone but shii-ann, and he's not outstanding in challenges. i think mogo mogo should lose a challenge just to make sure richard is gone. i do not want to see a repeat of borneo! but i'm confused by his comments that he's more interested in the interpersonal stuff...he doesn't seem to be doing that too well. i think lex and colby are keeping him around just because he is stronger, and as long as he acts like a boor, then he's a target and not them. and if richard thinks an alliance with shii-ann is going to get him anywhere...he's a huge fool. she has no power, she's expendable, and not very well-liked. why is richard, the king of manipulation, using the same strategy as before? wouldn't he be smart enough to switch, if that's what is needed? jenna bugs me! she's got to be gone, too. that should happen soon, since saboga keeps losing. got to be killing rupert that he's on a losing team!

Yes, I feel bad for Rupert. He seems like such a nice guy. My hubby thinks Richard's strategy is that he is a pain, but now with a million dollars, so he doesn't care if he wins or not. That's what he acts like. Like he's just there for the ride, however long that is.

i read an article that said that richard's strategy may be to act like such a nutcase, that they don't see him as a threat, and forget about him. then he coasts to the end, like he did in borneo. however, the problem with that is that i don't get the impression that lex, colby, or rupert would be that easily fooled. and one of the main reasons he won in borneo was because of that immunity challenge, with fire, and they were going to get rid of him then. after that, it was a lock for richard, coz he had rudy, and everyone hated kelly. i just don't see that being successful here, not after the merge. i'm curious to see how rob c. will handle richard, since they're both strategically smart, but i believe rob c. has the advantage over richard. i think this is the best survivor yet!

the winners are certain to be voted off, unless enough of them get through to the merger and then they can gang up together

it's about half an hour before survivor airs, so i want to make some predictions on who gets booted... i'm saying that if saboga loses (again!) it'll be jerri or jenna. if mogo mogo loses, it'll be richard. if chapera loses (how likely is that?) then it'll be amber (even with her alliance, i don't think the rest of the team will want to keep her and she's not vital to them getting to the merge). should be a good show! anyone else willing to make predictions?

The only prediction I can make is me sitting in my chair with a bowl of popcorn glued to the TV ;D Oh, and my drawing pad and an in progress caricature of jadachris I want to finish.

i don't think anyone could have predicted last night's episode. what a stunner! i had heard that jenna's mom died during the filming, but no one knew if jenna stayed, got voted out, what happened. i cried, like all the other teammates, when i saw her go. i lost my father-in-law a year ago to lung cancer, and so i just relived that anxiety and pain for jenna. even boston rob, the tough guy, was crying. i think i would have done the same thing as jenna. you just want to hang on to those last few hours, because you never know when it'll be over. but did anyone else notice, richard was smiling when he said, "jenna has issues?" before that final scene, i think he acted a little peeved that he wasn't getting the attention. poor richard, you just caught a fish, and no one notices because jenna is about to lose her mother. suck it up, fatboy. i wish desperately for him to be gone! the longer he's on the show, the more unbearable he becomes! by the way, richard, where were your famous interpersonal skills when jenna was suffering? i didn't see richard offering a shoulder to cry on...that was kathy and lex. the more i see of big tom, the more i like the guy. he was blubbering like a baby, and you could tell he was really feeling what jenna was feeling. i think there's a lot more to that guy than people think. rupert is shooting himself in the foot...he's gonna be gone soon. it's too bad. but saboga is just a loser team.

I don't know what Rupart is doing. He is just hanging himself left and right this time around. I think Richard wanted to talk about his "shark attack", but didn't get the chance the poor thing.

there are some excellent photos of all the castmates in this week's issue of entertainment weekly. interesting comments, too, on how the players view each other. i'm not gonna venture a prediction this time, since i was so wrong last week (gripping episode, however!). i just pray that richard goes soon....i want to see his face drop when his name is read out, as a loser not a winner!

i haven't laughed so much during a survivor episode, since rudy got lost in the jungle in borneo! could tom be any more ridiculous? disappointed that rob c got trumped. i was hoping he'd stick around and use that wily sense of survival to take out richard. but i like that lex has a plan for richard! lex is my favourite, by far. he's playing a great game.

The first thing I did when I got home was to watch Survivor (well, after hugging the kids lots). I have to agree about Lex. He is a great player of this game. I love that he is waiting for the chance to get rid of Richard and that he is just using him at this point for food. Richard did an aweful job navigating his tribe at the challenge. It's like he is trying to make everyone mad!

i think this may be the episode where richard's great ego will do him in. i thot during his comments about how much they love him for getting fish, that he's totally oblivious to how they're using him. if he's counting on shii-ann and kathy to carry him thru, that could happen, but after a merge, he's gonna get taken out by stronger players. he can't win immunity against colby, lex, alicia, boston rob. and i can't see boston rob putting up with richard for too long. (another great ego, yes, but i like him just a bit better than hatch!). or maybe i'm just wishing really hard!
