Since I don't have anyone to talk to about Survivor and I love the show, I thought I would start a discussion here. I will be glued to the set following the Super Bowl this Sunday. I am a huge fan of Survivor, it's the only show I have ever scheduled my life around to make sure I don't miss it. Well, not as big of a fan as stoontoons as I just read.
Will you be watching?

yes i will be watching.You guys in the States are always 1-2 weeks a head of us.So you know who is out before we do.I just shoot over to the survivor web page and find out.

yippee! another survivor fan! on another thread, i talked about what a fan i was, and then i noticed toonmom and tooned are both fans! yippee!
my favourite survivor is colby, followed by rupert. my least favourite is jon the weasel. have you noticed how nobody calls him "johnny fairplay" anymore? there was a lot of controversy over his dead grandma lie, and i thot it was despicable. you expect lying in this game, but you keep it inside the game, and you don't manipulate other people's emotions to get a reward. to bring someone else in on it, and then to use the other tribemates' sympathy...that was just wrong. i don't think even richard hatch would have sunk that low. i was amused to see that jon did not make it to the all-stars game. reports are that mark burnett thot jon made great tv, but didn't care for him much. no one thot he was the best player (except himself). i can't wait for sunday!

just thot of something...did anyone else see the mad tv episode with celebrity survivor? it was hilarious. they didn't announce that jeff probst was the guest host. if you haven't seen it, you should look for it. it's one of the funniest parodies of survivor i've ever seen.

survivor US has now been bought by one of the UK non-terrestrial channels over here so i could be watching it too very soon!
the UK did have its own version but it was axed after the first 2 series due to poor ratings
just incase your interested, members of the police forces won both series and both by a margin of 7-0
in the first series the winner was charlotte who was dubbed charlotte the harlot by the media after cheating on her husband with one of the contestants! she won even though she was the only one left on her team with 6 of the rival team only a few weeks after the merger.
i loved the programme! its much better than our big brother, which was incredibly boring last year.
the Uk are having a big reality tv competition too! but ours will involve winners from loads of different series of reality shows.

i aint watched any reality TV shows for a ew years now, since big brother 2! but i have been kinda watching "im a celebrity, get me out of here" but only for competitions and to see jordans tats!! lmao u been watchin it broomhelga?
