Okay, so I really didn't have a lot of time this week. My apologies for the rushed work herein. Not much to say about these drawings. Their names are included, so I guess I'll just post them. Here they are: Please feel free to comment. Also, I apologize if I'm not able to do the contest next week. I will try my best, but I may be visiting family where there is no internet. However, I'm working out a plan where I'll still be able to do it. Happy holidays all! -- Eric

These look great! Did you ever get that job doing live work?

Thank you so much, toonMom. About the live work job - yes and no. Technically, I was offered the job, but I later found out a few things. First off, they were so disorganized that the guy who offered me the job was not the boss at all, but rather just a guy who worked there who though very highly of himself. Then, while I was in the "training" program (basically "Draw this!" "Not good enough; draw it again!" with no actual help on what to improve), I learned that my style of drawing differed from their's. Also, I couldn't color with airbrush (to which they replied, "Just color really flat"), couldn't do bodies ("Don't let them know we offer bodies"), etc.
So, basically, I was offered the job, but it didn't work out. But it did turn out better in the end. See, had I taken the job, I wouldn't have been available that summer to be an extra in movies and TV. Had I not done that that summer, I wouldn't have gotten my first two Screen Actors Guild vouchers, getting me two thirds of the way to S.A.G. eligibility (S.A.G. being the prime union serious screen actors HAVE to join). I'm now eligible and will be joinging in about a week. Happy Christmas to me.
Sorry about the long answer to a simple question.
Happy holidays, all.

The long answer is fine Eric, I enjoyed the information about your life. Congradulations on your big break! I am assuming this would qualify as a big break. Your work has that production drawn look to it so I thought maybe you have been doing some live work somewhere. Not that it looks bad, it just has the live look to it. I think that's a good thing.

toonMom -
Thank you very much. I absolutely take that as a compliment.
Also, while I wouldn't quite call being able to join S.A.G. a big break, it definately puts me into a position to have a big break.
I have a quick question. I know that this goes against the rules of the contest, so I totally understand if you say no, but I figure I might as well ask.
Any chance you'd be able to post the rules for next week's challenge either tonight or early tomorrow morning? I only ask this because I will be going out of town tomorrow morning to visit family, and may not have a computer handy to get the challenge. If it makes you feel any better, I won't actually start the contest until Monday. Again, I absolutely understand if this isn't cool, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks a lot.
-- Eric
