I have a busy day today (son's 8th Birthday party) so I am posting this now because I know I won't want to do it tonight. Week one will stay open until I log on tomorrow morning, then I will be locking that thread and anyone who hasn't posted all 5 drawings will be out of the challenge.
Week 2 Rules Pick one member from the Now Draw This! section of the board. Draw that 1 member 5 times, using the reference photo each time (do not do a drawing of a drawing of a drawing)
I would suggest you pick a person you think you would have trouble drawing. This will show you that you will improve on that person if you keep at it. Look at each drawing and try to pin-point what areas you could change to increase the quality of your drawing.
Good Luck!

Good shots from both of you. Remember to keep drawing the same person for your next 4 drawings.
My sons birthday was actually on the 10th, but his family party was yesterday. I showed him that everyone was wishing him a happy birthday, he thinks that is really cool. Thanks to you all.

I picked Mr. Slim for my subject this week. I have tried to draw him several times but never came up with anything worth posting. Funny thing is I still didn't like it, but I kept working on it because I knew I had to post 5 of these and I ended up with an OK drawing.

It's a good try Joey but try and make his face bigger on the page next time. Really study his features and see what is most prominent. To me, his lips are in interesting shape and one that could be exaggerated, his eyes look quite big and his face is rounder rather than longer. Having said that, I wouldn't be able to do better!! Hope that helps. I'll be posting mine when I've done all 5, when there will hopefully be a progression!
