hey, just though i'd announce here that car-i-ca-ture magazine is apparently interested in publishing some of my work along with my "story". i'm pretty excited about it. i don't know much more about it than that so far, but i'll let you all know when more details formulate. i mean, if anyone wants to know.

Speaking of Caricature Magazine, has anyone seen the latest issue? I submitted some drawings they liked, and were supposed to send me a copy of the magazine. Any idea if it's been published? And Congratulations, Don, for the bio and gallery! I need to subscribe now!

thanx. they asked that my story should be about two pages long. i'm barely over a page so far, and it already seems long and boring to me. i have a hard time seeing anyone caring enough to read the whole thing. i figure i have two options for making it more interesting: a) go back over it looking for funnier ways to say everything, or b) lie.

Don,
Congrats! I have been looking at your stuff quite a bit recently. I consider myself a fan as well.
As far as your story: tell them about the years you were an undercover secret agent or the period where you were a playboy formula one driver or the time you and few others from Liverpool played some tunes together or the time...

You could tell them about your experience at Stratford, and that movie you did about the two guys on a road trip through the bleak Canadian landscape, and then maybe the time you starred with Kevin Spacey in that movie about Newfoundland...oops...wrong Pinsent! I think Lying is the way to go. ;D

I think you should keep it simple...like "I was born at a very young age..." or "my story is really the story of every average man, starting with nothing but a dream and daring to reach for the stars...".....or even better," Uhhh my names Don.....I likes to draw purty piktures..." Feel free to use any of those.
Erik.
