This is how I went about drawing Howard. There are many was to go about drawing a caricature, use the method that works for you. The reference is in the challenge section of this site. 1. I started out with some guidelines for laying out the face because of the angle. I use a blue col-erase pencil for my sketches. I draw very light so I can go over it later. 2. I started with the nose because it is the most prominent feature of his face. 3. Next, I added the glasses 4. Then I did the lips, starting with the center of the mouth and working my way out and then the bottom lip. 5. After that I did the chin and cheek. 6. Next, the eyes, brows and forehead. 7. Then I did the outline of the hair. 8. Add the shirt This is how I do my sketches. I follow this up with a 4b pencil, going over the lines in smooth solid strokes. I know this goes against what Mauri taught us in class, but it gets me where I want to be (at least close anyway).

Cool...this is good but I think that adding color to it will bring it to life.
