hi all
Snarckle i use sometimes mouse, or sometimes pen, marker...sometimes i combine, mouse and pen, i correct with the pencil of photoshop.I have never used a wacom tablet, it should be cool.
My latests reflection about doing a good caricature :
first, take the time to see very well the face, in diferent angles if you have more pics, or video, better.
Take about 15 minutes to see the pics.Study the shape of face and details, eyes, nose, head...After that begin with sketches, doing and redoing is the best to develop outlines.Sometimes is good to begin with eyes, or sometimes with the contour of face.I don´t have a rule for that.
And finally, the most dificult is to obtain the likeness, so anatomy of eyes and mouth are very important.

Vidal i see a lot of trouble-blured lines that form a face; very bad resolution-dpi of B/W image.I think your method of photo manipulation is just an excuse for not learn to draw...

horate, there are ways of making your point without being blatantly offensive. learn them.
while i also am no fan of the photomanipulation caricatures, and have never made any secret of that, vidal has also shown over the years that he does, indeed, also know how to draw.
