Tooned, Bob Ross is a "televison-painter teacher".i don´t know if he is dead, but he can do nice landscapes with big brushes and oils, in 10 minutes aprox ...yea , he is a showman, very interesting to see in action, try to search ones of his videos.i don´t like very much the style, but the skills he use are very funny.

yeah, he's, uh.... interesting. he had a tv show for years, showing somewhat unconventional techniques for painting landscapes (often using big, wide house-painting brushes, putty knives, etc.). he's a very soft-spoken individual, total hippie. he's very good at what he does, but that's pretty much all he does. landscape after landscape after landscape, each featuring trees and water all centering around a horizon mountain. sorry if i'm profaning some great deity in anyone else's mind, but i, for one, have never been a fan. and yeah, he's dead. probably something like five to ten years ago ago now, actually.

Great job Grant. I would call Bob Ross more of a teacher than a painter. He was great fun to watch though!

He was lots of fun toonmom. I used to love watching him because he was so relaxing. A little cheesy most of the time but that was HIM. He was just a natural nice guy. He loved his animals, he loved his paintings, and he loved people. This is a great challenge and tribute. Ricky  |
