Thanks Vidal about my website and for the suggestion about similarity. I know similarity is important in caricatures and I would like to obtain this perfectly. I'm still a learner and I need practice and work my style. I will wait for the next challenge to do it better.

Revoy - feel free to give this one another try if you would like. No need to wait for the next challenge. Also, if you want you can go back and do some of the previous challenges as well. After that, head on over to the Now Draw This section of the board and have some fun drawing the other members. There are tons of images here to draw from!

Thanks tooMon, I was thinking of it, but I wasn't sure to ask for post other things here. Can you learn me how to join a picture directly in the forum board from my harddisk ? cause for the moment I stock picture in a blind folder of my website , and I always make a URL link on the forum. There is more simple ? Thanks again

what technique do you use vidal? I'm curious as to how you approach your work, it looks like a photo that has been altered with the smudge tool in photoshop, possibly some filters? just curious

Larry- another great job! Nelson- that's a terrific, strong sketch! J-Bot- great painting style, i love the blue highlights on the side of his face and neck! Hans- WOW! all he needs is your Darth Vader helmet! Revoy- those colors and the sketchy style really work well together!
Still working on mine, will have it up later tonight or tomorrow.

Han's I'm usually the last person to critique your work, but those cheeckbones for me ruin what should and is a great caricature, they're not anatomicaly correct , they sort of look like motorbike handles, please feel free to disagree.

Dear colleague and friend, I thought that you were a new member, but you are one year before me. I have looked for your pictures to be carried out a cartoon and I don't find them. Please it goes up the pictures. Regarding your work, I should congratulate you for that excellent cartoon of Clint, as for creativity, realization, style, chromatic and resemblance. I yearn you make me a caricature to exhibit it with a lot of pride in my gallery. As for the realization of my cartoons, it is very simple JunkBot. I use the character's picture and I manipulate it with the tools and filters of Photoshop, applying drawing knowledge and technical artistic, alter, transformation, distortion and especially creativity. Before I make a pre-sketch with pen, standing out a main characteristic, maintaining an aesthetic balance with the other ones characteristic. I don't share the idea of many caricaturists in exaggerating without measure neither control as if it was a jello, giving an irrespeto as a result to the character. The cartoon or characterization should exaggerate or to transform the person with a lot of genius and creativity. It is my personal point of view that I give to know my students, when I teach them cartoon in Project. I respect the opinion of my colleagues and friends, although it doesn't share them. I believe that the good of this forum is that we can autocriticarnos to be able to criticize and this way to learn how to learn... I have said It and I ratify it. This forum is a true school of the cartoon!! A hug, Vidal www.vidal1951.ec.nu
