Kenbevan I really like your work - checked out your website, I don't know how I missed it. Your work and colored pencil stuff is great! Stang This is really cool seeing Renee done in a Stang Style, It made me smile. This one is really a nice one. After you died this one is going to go for some big bucks ($$$'s) Mike

Well, I gave it another shot. It sure is different from the first one, but I don't know if it's any better (doesn't have much caricature aspect to it).

Larry - It does look better, keep it up! They cartoonyness (I know that's not a word) will come with time. Here's mine, I'm not happy with it but I wanted to post something.

So what is it that makes Renee, Renee? Collectively through this exhibit we seem to think the eyes and lips. I'm tempted to place my attempt back under the bright lights for some 'touching up'. Rob www.caricatureshop.com

makarand, i think you did quite well on that first drawing. you've drawn the crooked lips quite nicely. ricky, perhaps you could change the line weights a bit. your likeness of her is good, but the lines are a bit sketchy (which is, of course, expected in a 3 minute sketch). you've captured the likeness, which can be hard to do in such a limited amount of time.

Renee has a "look". I think it is all in the squinty eyes and the way she holds her mouth. I found it very hard to capture that. Everyone here did a really good job trying!
