i would love to trade with anyone here! i just want to make sure i get this right...you can draw on cards (what size again?), and then send those to the person, and they send some back. so the cards are the originals, correct?
actually, this sounds somewhat like "mail art". it's the same idea, artists send their original pieces to one another, except they use the envelope as the canvas. dadaists and surrealist artists began using mail art as a way to express themselves freely, outside of the gallery system (which has lots of rules!). so i think this is a fabulous idea!
toonmom, lorna, and tooned - jadachris, are you in on this, too? would love to send you cards. i'd like to send snowangel, if that's cool with everybody. is there a limit on the number of cards? (like, do you send only one, or three, or what?). we need addresses, right?

The cards are 2.5 x 3.5 inches (or 3.5 x 2.5). That is the only rule! You can make prints, originals, collage, paintings, crayons anything you want. You specify the number of cards to trade, 3 for 3 is common, but you can do any amount. You can also specify originals only if you would like. You make the cards out of cardstock too, or you can do them on cereal boxes or similar weight cardboard. That's about it!
I'm not sure who all is into this, I am for sure. I think tooned would trade and lorna too.

i have so many ideas now! i checked the What is an ATC and saw the gallery...loved it! could we trade 3 for 3?
tooned and lorna....would love to trade with you, as well. lorna, got your address, so i'll be sending you something!
tooned and toonmom, can i get your addresses, so i can mail them?
this is awesome. i love seeing other artists' work. i plan to create a wall space that showcases the cards...kind of like my own private gallery!

lorna, tooned, toonmom...your cards have been mailed. i hope i followed the instructions correctly. i've had so much fun with these...now i'm thinking of doing something for valentine's day, for friends and family. just little cards to tell them i'm thinking about them.
