Ive been drawing tonight, I started off just sketching a few random things then started to see if I could draw something that seemed animated. I came across this on my drawing journey Its a bit disproportioned. What im looking for here is some comments from you guys about weather or not it seems to look animated, and weather or not you like the style, because im thinking of bringing the style into my caricatures I need to experiment with it for a while first though. it's definitely animated. there are some things you can do to tweak it more. try squashing one eye, and stretching the other even more. make sure when you draw a cartoon, or anything else for that matter, that you leave some space between bottom of the feet and the edge of the paper. you don't want it to look like the character is standing on that line (and you can avoid the same thing for the sides...it shouldn't look as if the edge of the paper is the support). i always like to draw really big feet, just coz it's more cartoony. with this character, you could seriously do more exaggeration, and it'll work.

Thanks stoontoons,
There was actually some space between the edge of the paper and the bottom of the feet, but when I scanned it in it didnt scan it all for some reason, stupid scanner.
I dont usually draw bodies because im not very good with them, this was one of the first times I tried it, I agree about the feet needing to be bigger, infact I should make them as long as the characters fore-arm, because in real life your feet are actually as long as your forearms, strange but true fact.
Im gonna have to practice at the whole drawing bodies thing, but thanks for your comments,
Adam

Hey Adam, I don't draw bodies either! I applaud you for trying. I am very bad at them so I just don't draw them at all. I like your character you did here. I like the style and the way you did the shading. I agree with stoontoons. I'd like to see what you could do to improve it.

Yeah, it definately is about pencil mileage, I can feel myself improving just a little each drawing I do, and it feels good, Thanks for the comments people, I might re-work the body if I get round to it
