wacom is only like the best (my opinon:P) tablet you can get. a tablet being a lil tool you plug in and you can draw on it and it transfers what you draw to the computer. its good for ppl without the best mouse skills:P

Yes that is Arnold. I do use a sketch to draw over top of. The bad part is, once you put down your first layer of color, you can't see it anymore. But it does work as a very loose guide to help get things in place. This is a Wacom The tablet shown above is the most commonly used one, I think. It's the cheapest and works just fine for most peoples needs.

Ok i am no showing off here(well maybe a little) but here is my new toy.Its a new wacom 15 inch cintqu. You draw on the screen, and it also doubles as a monitor. Its great,i am still learning my way around it.But it is very expensive.Just ask my wife Please excuse the mess on my desk. Also toonmom stoontoon and Lorna you can see 3 of your completed painted trading cards near the monitor.Just a small preview. cheers Grant gallery.cybertarp.com/albums/userpics/13184/wacom%20tablet.jpg[/img]

I knew you would have to show off Grant! I could have gotten one of those if I wanted to... NOT. I see you have Mauri's book in there as well.
I need to start using my "baby" tablet again, the problem is it's buried under papers and drawing boards and whatever else I have piled up on it. Besides, even if I dug it out, where would I put it? You should see my desk!

I thought Painter would be better because of having all the different styles to use (colored pencils, water color, oils, etc.). I'm glad you like them, these are the only ones I ever did. I never practiced enough to get where I would have liked to have been.

No, the image is hosted through cyberTarp and they no longer allow hot-linking so the image is blocked from showing up. tooned hasn't updated that image, maybe he can do that for you. Besides, he loves to brag about his fancy tablet!
