I have to say I don't know her either but knowing it is your work I'm sure it is great. BTW have you developed more muscle swinging that snow shovel.

Thank you, Light, bless your misplaced midwestern heart!
My Shovel Muscles (or "My Shoves", as Arnold calls them) are quite sore, yes, but it looks like we only got an inch overnight instead of the 3 to 5 they were predicting yesterday.
BTW, you forgot to mention 2 things in your walking-to-school narrative: It was uphill, both ways, AND, we had to walk home for lunch every day!!

nice work dave! i'm surprised that so many people have not heard of her, despite her being canadian, i thought she was more famous than that. anyway, that's a really good likeness.

Dave You got lunch, must have come from the other side of the tracks? We had lard sandwiches for Christmas, what a treat.

Lard Sandwiches?! You were lucky! We were given two moldy pieces of cardboard with a lye paste to eat and strong poison to drink out of broken beakers...if we were good! I had to walk fifty miles, one way, with cleats on the INSIDE of my shoes...blindfolded...covered in sausages near a wild dog preserve to my hole in the ground school where, every Tuesday, they would dump garbage on us and fill the hole. That day garbage was for lunch and it was all you could eat. Boy, those were the days.... -Slim

Dave and tooned....great stuff gentlemen.
Ol' tom cruise...not sure we would all feel safe if he had a sword in hand right now...he seems to be a little wacky these days.

dave- my favourite sarah mclachlan album i think has to be "solace", although "fumbling towards ecstasy" is very good too. these two have a good ablance of the mellow, atmospheric kinda stuff she's best known for, and some of her more upbeat songs, which i generally tend to like more. my favourite remains "into the fire" from "solace". her last couple of albums have been made up of a lot of songs that are good individually, but almost all lean toward that mellower vibe, so the album as a whole is less listenable.
