I did my first gig!!!I was so nervous, but after the second one I was fine. This was a small craft fair that started from 10:00-3:00 on Sat.It had gospel singing and about 20 booths filled with junk.I did 14 kids and six couples. One was over sixty-the man was easy but his wife was hard!!!!That was the only one I was not happy with but they liked it.Or they were just being nice.It was fun!!!

Congratulations Shelley....a courageous effort on your part. It is not an easy task to quickly render live caricatures with skill, ease and a likeness. Like anything with experience you will improve and gain confidence in your line. The key, to this stuff is quickly know where you are going to go with a face ( mental checklist of overall shape proportions and...go for it... with conviction...best of luck in future gigs DM

My sister-in-law(her name is Shelley, too)took pictures of the first few.Its funny they came in groups so I was real busy then slow.So I did not take pictures of all of them. After she E-mails me the pics I will post them.I did a music group (drew, tooned)And got my picture taken with them. The singer came to me right before they went on stage and wanted me to draw them in action.I sat close to the stage and did it but it was hard!I wont do that again! All in all it was alot of fun!

Shelley
I told Toon Mom how proud I am of you and her to take the plunge for doing live gigs!
By the way .... I love your windows! You should contact places like Zaxby's chicken or Cracker Barrel, I think they buy multiple things like this to display in their restaurants.
